Harmen van der Tuin’s paintings are painted sculptures, whose substance lies in colour and brushstrokes. They combine elements of Minimalism and Abstract Expressionism to form an artistic language all of their own. At their heart lies nothing less than the search for the essence of our existence, the quest for oneness with the world in the Buddhist sense.
The artist is also active as a musician.
